Nice to see that their Debian still has Python 2 as default. A first observation is that it event doesn't have pip installed, so here we go:: $ sudo apt-get install python-pip Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Need to get 49.4 MB of archives. After this operation, 144 MB of additional disk space will be used. Note that this is maybe a reason to start making Lino available using easier system. Printing sales invoices ======================= There are still some subtle problems when printing sales invoices with multi-line descriptions. One problem is that it is currently not possible to edit a multi-line text field in a *rich* (HTML) text editor. For the first pilot user this is not a problem, they will probably even prefer to have some simple markup. This is *because* they want to edit their descriptions in a grid. Other users might prefer to have a rich description, but those users will probably not want to edit that in the grid. Because there is not enough room. They will prefer to have a detail_layout per line. So it should be locally changeable by setting :attr:`textfield_format `. Another more subtle and more serious problem is when injecting the HTML (either from the rich editor or generated from markup) into the LibreOffice template to be used by `appy.pod`. This will always be limited by the limitations in :mod:`lino.utils.html2odt` So I started to think about trying :ticket:`692`, and had a look at `wkhtmltopdf `_.
